Painting on ceramic plates, matte glaze, series of 5
Combining my mother's passion for ceramics, and my passion for the arts and the natural world, we created this series of ceramic plates. After my mother created the plates, I painted insects on them in life-size, therefore giving the insects a realistic feel, almost as if the insect were about to fly away or crawl about the plate.
